President's Letter

It is my honor and privilege to serve as the 19th President of the Metropolitan Black Bar Association (MBBA).  I want to thank my predecessor, mentor, and good friend, Paula T. Edgar, for her service and commitment to our organization.  Under President Edgar’s stewardship, we have become a stronger and more effective bar association.  We thank “Coach Paula” for her leadership.  I would also like to congratulate all the officers and board members elected to serve the MBBA at last week’s Annual Membership Meeting.  Together, we can make a difference.

A Playtime Worldwide Game Night curated for the Metropolitan Black Bar Association is both Epic and Sophisticated. As one of the largest organizations of Black/Minority Attorneys in New York State, we are honored to host/curate this experience for you. The MBBA is comprised of mostly minority attorneys in large and small law firms, in a plethora of forms in the legal arena from solo practitioners, to all levels of government, academia, corporations, financial institutions, not-for-profit organizations and the judiciary.
