A series of one hour CLE programs. The proceeds and canned food goods were donated to the Bronx Office of the Family Justice Center, a program of New York City government that combats domestic violence.

The MBBA continued the "I Am A Solution" series by traveling to the Bronx looking to engage community members, and identify legal and legislative solutions that will reduce the violence in our communities.

The MBBA and the Bronx Women's Bar Association hosted a Happy Hour in the Bronx. Attendees had the opportunity to meet the leadership and members of the MBBA.
The MBBA hosted a Thanksgiving Day Volunteer Event at the St. Bartholomew Episcopal Church in Brooklyn. Volunteering and giving back is one of the core values of MBBA.
MBBA's Young Lawyers Section hosted a Meet and Greet and Speed Networking event where attendees had the opportunity to learn how to make a powerful introduction in 1 minute or less. After, they got to put those new skills to use with each other!
MBBA hosted their Community Law Day in the Bronx! Volunteer attorneys provided services in the areas of Housing, Immigration, Family Law, Criminal Law, and Life Planning.
MBBA hosted their first Quarterly Meeting for fellowshipping,which included networking, taking a CLE, and conducting organizational business. There was also a CLE presentation: "Foreign Language for Attorneys" for non- Spanish Speaking attorneys on representing Spanish Speaking clients.
MBBA (co-sponsor) and The Children's Law Center hosted a program which was designed to help lawyers understand the skills and training needed to become a mediator.
