Eric A. Love

Eric A. Love is an associate in Jones Day’s New York Office and a member of the Financial Markets Practice, where he focuses on the formation and regulation of private investment funds (such as hedge, private equity, venture capital, and real estate funds), and on the regulation of private fund managers, investment advisers and broker-dealers.  Recognized by Law360 as a “Rising Star” in Fintech in 2019, Eric also concentrates his practice on the dynamic and evolving areas of blockchain, digital currencies, and emerging payments.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Eric was an associate at an international law firm in Washington, D.C. Before practicing law, he served as a special assistant at the U.S. Department of the Treasury and worked for the U.S. House of Representatives for six years in a number of positions, including as a senior legislative assistant for financial services.

Eric serves on the associate recruiting and diversity committees in Jones Day’s New York Office, and is a member of the New York State Bar Association’s Private Investment Funds Subcommittee.

 

Mirlande Telfort

Mirlande Telfort maintains a busy debt finance practice with an Am Law 50 law firm, while actively promoting diversity and inclusion and serving her community. She focuses her practice on representing banks, private equity funds and other investors in a variety of complex financing transactions. She counsels clients in a broad range of industries, with a focus in the healthcare, manufacturing, technology and retail sectors. Prior to joining her current law firm, Mirlande practiced in the corporate department of New York-based international law firm, where she represented leading investment banks and other institutional investors in corporate transactions involving high-yield debt and equity offerings. In addition to her robust legal practice, Mirlande serves on various leadership committees focused on the recruitment, retention and promotion of women and diverse attorneys and continuously devotes her time and resources to non-profit organizations committed to assisting disadvantaged groups. Mirlande received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics from Emory University and her juris doctorate from Howard University.

Inga O’Neale

Inga O’Neale is a graduate of SUNY at Stony Brook and Hofstra University School of Law.  Ms. O’Neale is currently a Principal Law Clerk in the Kings County Supreme Court, Civil Term.  Ms. O’Neale volunteers as a Small Claims Court Arbitrator and serves in her local Lions Club.  Ms. O’Neale is also a member of various professional organizations and is the former President and current board member of the Association of Law Secretaries to the Justices of the Supreme and Surrogate’s Court of the City of New York.
