Please review the attached brochure for information about an incredible CLE event this summer in New York City.
The 2017 American Bar Association Annual Meeting is in New York, August 10–15 at the New York Hilton Midtown, on Sixth Avenue between 53rd and 54th Streets. The ABA is working with the New York City Bar Association and our Association, many other local and affinity bar associations, and more than 60 law firms with presences in New York on an innovative series of programming in conjunction with the ABA Annual Meeting. The new CLE in the City Series will offer first-rate CLE Programs held in Midtown law firms and other special venues (the New York International Arbitration Center, Fordham Law Center, Lincoln Center, the New York City Bar Association and potentially the United Nations). The programs are divided into twelve practice area tracks, and will be offered all day on Thursday, August 10 and Friday morning, August 11 at just $25 per program. The attached Save the Date highlights the information relating to the various tracks.
Once you purchase a ticket for one or more CLE programs in this Series, you may add a lunch program featuring prominent speakers (non-CLE), for just an additional $20. Included with your one or more $25 CLE in the City tickets is a bonus CLE program – Bright Insight: Key Business Drivers and Trends Affecting Real Estate Decision Making, presented by Cushman & Wakefield, scheduled Thursday, August 10 at 4:00 pm at the Hilton New York Midtown – followed by an entertaining Trial of Two Pizzas (New York v. Chicago) and Reception. This program and the reception are at no additional cost.
This outreach to ABA members and nonmembers in the Tri-State region (including all of the states of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut) is designed to give you a sampling of the incredible programs and events offered by the ABA. It will also provide an opportunity to network with lawyers attending the ABA Annual Meeting from across the country and around the world. This offer has limited availability and will be available to you through a special registration code sent in an email on June 1. We are giving you advance notice now so you can block August 10 and 11 on your calendar!
If you would like to learn about other exciting events being offered at the ABA Annual Meeting, please visit the website ambar.org/annual. General registration is open now with registration fees starting as low as $95.00. Registering today will secure your place at the CLE in the City Series as well as give you the opportunity to register for other programming. If you decide to wait, you will receive a separate email on June 1 with a promo code and a link to the CLE in the City programs allowing you to purchase tickets without registering for the Annual Meeting – as long as you reside within the Tri-State area. You do not have to be an ABA member to take advantage of the unique CLE in the City series of programs.
We look forward to seeing you in August.
