Article 81 Fiduciary Accountings: Preparing for the Examination Process

This course will cover the process of preparing and filing the initial, annual and final accounts by Article 81 guardians. It will also discuss the process of qualifying as a guardian, maintaining accurate records, and the role of the court examiner. There will be an emphasis on the financial section of an annual account, including but not limited to a discussion of each schedule, logging specific financial activity, calculating commissions, and the examination process.
