"Ground-up" policy making is a framework for approaching policy and legislative advocacy that is rooted in communities. This CLE program will discuss ground-up policy making as it relates to addressing legal issues that directly affect underrepresented communities. It will specifically go over the principles of community lawmaking & movement lawyering as well as the pros and cons to each.
