This program will provide an overview of the legal, regulatory, and headline risks of cyber-incidents and data breaches for nonprofit organizations and explore the methods and approaches – both from a legal and a practical perspective – for managing these risks. The program will cover: the general cybersecurity risk and regulatory landscape; fiduciary duties in the context of cyber threats; and controls for managing cyber risks, with a focus on a range of approaches that take into consideration varying levels of risk and organizational resources.
