Alison L. Moore is a Managing Director and Associate General Counsel at JPMorgan. Alison works with global, cross-functional teams to address emerging legal issues of strategic importance to the firm identified by the General Counsel and her management team, such as cyber-security and data ownership. She also serves as Senior Counsel to the Global Markets Infrastructure team, advising on matters relevant to how the firm moves cash and securities throughout the world.
In her prior role, Alison was a lead attorney for the Investor Services division of JPMorgan’s Corporate and Investment Bank. In that role, she advised senior business leaders on legal and commercial matters; supported custody, fund administration and collateral management products; and managed a team of experienced attorneys.
Prior to joining the Legal Department at J.P. Morgan, Alison was a transactional attorney in private practice at several large law firms in New York City. A native of Brooklyn, New York, Alison is active in the community. In addition to her mentoring activities, she currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Adams Street Foundation (the non-profit arm of the Urban Assembly School for Law and Justice High School in Brooklyn, NY).
Among other recognitions, Alison was named to Lawyers of Color’s Second Annual Hot List (2014) and honored as one of The Network Journal’s 25 Influential Black Women in Business (2015).
Alison received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Harvard University and her law degree from Columbia Law School.
