Ms. Naita Semaj-Williams graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work from Lehman College and a J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law. Prior to, and during law school, Ms. Semaj worked as a Case Worker for multiple NYC foster care agencies. After graduating from law school, she worked as a Family Court Legal Services Attorney for the Administration Children's Services. During her time with the agency she litigated many child abuse and neglect cases and assisted in training new attorneys in both Bronx and Brooklyn Family Courts.
Ms. Semaj-Williams is currently an Associate Court Attorney in Bronx Criminal Court. She is also a past Board Member and the current President of the Black Bar Association of Bronx County. Ms. Semaj serves as an Arbitrator in Bronx Civil Court, a coach with the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition, and is an active member of various groups and organizations in the Bronx.
